My Business Philosophy

There is a lot that goes into being an exceptional agent. Great listing agents will do much more than put a sign in the yard and post your house on the MLS, and a strong buyer’s agent certainly provides more value than simply opening doors, showing homes and writing offers. My approach when dealing with my clients has always been comprehensive and extremely thorough. My goal is not only to make each experience as seamless and stress-free as possible for you, but also to become your trusted real estate advisor for life.

Whether you’re buying or selling, I have developed and implemented processes that will help set clear expectations up front on what to expect along the way when working with me. Extensive research on market conditions and individual homes allows me to negotiate on your behalf from a position of strength. My clients have complete access to me and are encouraged to reach out to me via phone, email, text, or whatever best suits them. Not only will I be communicating frequently with you, but also with other agents, lenders, title and escrow, and many more. Coordinating and managing all of these moving parts allows me to attain the best possible results for you.

For most people, their home is their biggest asset. I am committed to delivering to you outstanding service, the highest ethical standards and will work diligently to achieve whatever your ultimate goals may be.

My Background

I was born and raised in the Seattle area and truly believe there’s no better place to live than the Northwest! I grew up in South Everett and graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham. I worked in many different areas of customer service including restaurants, retail, teaching skiing lessons, and running an after school program for elementary kids.

After graduating from Western, I immediately went into sales and marketing (including working for Zillow!) and had a successful 8 year career. I have always had a passion for real estate and decided that my previous experience and skills would serve my clients well in this industry. I chose Windermere because the company shares the same beliefs that I have about a commitment to excellence as well as the community.

My wife Amy and I currently live in Mountlake Terrace with our English Mastiff, Gus (175lbs!). In my spare time I enjoy golfing, hiking, snow-skiing, reading, and am an avid Seattle sports fan. I love to travel, and even did a complete trip around the globe by boat visiting 11 countries on several continents. I’m no stranger to adventure, and have been skydiving and bungee jumping (twice). I also like to stay active in my local community, and I serve on the Mountlake Terrace Police Advisory Board. I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your real estate goals!
